Women's Reservation

As the bill finally gets passed in the Rajya sabha, a multiple views arise.
Presenting two almost polar views:

"As analysts have pointed out, the Bill contains many structural flaws. First, there will be compulsory unseating of two-third of the members every election. Second, there will be no incentive for MPs to nurse constituencies. Third, there is the undeniable fact that family politics will be further enhanced as a male who suddenly loses his seat to a reserved constituency will be tempted to simply put up a female relative as a proxy. Thus the floodgates of bahu-betis may open." Ladies Compartment by Sagarika Ghosh.
"For as long as I can remember, I have been opposed to the principle of reserving seats for women in Parliament......My point was not that I was against women....... I was simply against reservation. So why then was I secretly pleased when the Reservation Bill was finally passed in the Rajya Sabha?
I don’t know, you can argue it both ways. But, in my heart, I remain delighted that eventually democracy defeated goondagiri."-  Progress of women in society is entirely unrelated to the gender profile of the Parliament by Vir Sanghvi
