Coffee in Mumbai

Pinterest throws up some nice images always. This one pretty much sums up the warmth of coffee and the love for it.

Talking of coffee in Mumbai, it's quite a recent entry. Local coffee chains have now been around for over 10 years I guess. But finding just the right one that suits you, and is perfect for your taste, is still difficult to find.

However, Moshe's Inhouse coffee pretty much is a favourite now. Though the cafes have quite a few outlets, the Kalaghoda one with its added charm and perfected brewing time when served, is the best. Added points for the simple and elegant crockery set that accompanies it.The Cappuccino at Cafe' West is another favourite, one of the few that comes with cinnamon.

A new option that's just popped up closer to home is the Australian Di Bella, which makes its sudden  entry right before Starbucks does, with quite a few outlets. The coffee was quite good, with a marked difference in flavour than the local ones. The place requires a lot of fine tuning though, as the nearest Barista still has something nicer in terms of location and feel. This may take a while to figure it out, but the coffee sure is good!
