Writing on a few things, I could've blogged about, but was limited to micro-blogging then. So, elaborating a little on those in a few posts. This one's from my Singapore visit in August.
A popular breakfast in Singapore is
Kaya Toast along with runny eggs, accompanied with the local coffee. Though the local coffee in Singapore isn't something that I can have too much of (way too acidic as well as strongly bitter and concentrated for me. )

| Usually sold at all-day breakfast places like these |
 |
| Outdoor seating at toast-box |
Kaya is a Coconut jelly, served on toast with a generous slab of butter.
The eggs are par-boiled to perfection. 4 trials back home and 6 eggs wasted, some over-cook and some under- have given up on that!
Served with Dark Soya and pepper for seasoning, they make for an unusual looking, but good breakfast (once you get over the fact of having a semi-cooked liquid egg)
